With over thirty years of experience, Michael is Partner in Charge of accounting and attestation functions. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Haverford College and also studied accounting, finance, and taxes, at Villanova University and Saint Joseph's University. He is a founding Shareholder of Zelnick, Mann and Winikur, P.C. in 1996.
His areas of expertise include industry specializations in retail and wholesale sales, manufacturing, and professional services with additional expertise and considerable experience in income tax, retirement plans, and estate tax planning, business succession and implementation strategies, business consulting and outsourcing including in financing solutions and working with banks, and Federal, state and local tax examinations and settlement resolutions. For many years, Michael has earned the trust of the many closely held businesses and individuals he serves for his experienced knowledge and attention to detail while always striving to achieve the best possible results for the Clients which he takes personally. He has worked with many of the top attorneys and consultants in the area and from national firms being part of the Professional Team as selected by the Client.
Michael is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of CPA'S (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of CPA's (PICPA) and has been for over three decades.
Michael enjoys playing tennis and golf and had served as the Treasurer of a local country club. He is an avid sports fan and has been a Philadelphia Flyers season ticket holder for many years.
